Charge back may be not a familiar term to the common man. Charge back is a condition defined as a credit card charge that is disputed by a customer and is reversed; after a chargeback the customer has paid nothing and the seller has received nothing (but possibly has to pay a chargeback fee). The merchant sides must be familiar to this term but they all would want to protect all of their transactions from this situation.
